An unlicensed tree trimmer was arrested in Monterey County this past Friday, after he failed to appear in court. 52-year-old Secundino “dino” Munoz was taken into custody when he showed up to a property to give a bid for some work, but that turned out to be a sting operation conducted by local authorities (in conjunction with officials with the Contractors state license board), (known as the c-s-l-b). c-s-l-b officials had first contacted munoz in late july, after receiving multiple tips about unsafe work conditions. Munoz was determined to be working without a license, and is now facing several charges, including 1-felony.
