A half-dozen suspected unlicensed contractors from the Carmel area will be in court next month. They were busted over the past week as part of a statewide operation that netted 46 unlicensed contractors in all.
The Contractors State License Board said the other 40 were cited in El Dorado, Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and Kern counties.
All were found during undercover operations and gave bids for home improvement jobs, and bids ranged requiring a contractor’s license.
The suspects’ court dates are set for Feb. 25 and 26, 2020.
