KION Television is reporting this morning that an older man was found unresponsive following a fire at a Carmel Valley home on last (Thursday) evening.
The fire occurred on Esquiline Road in Carmel Valley. The blaze was quickly brought under control, but firefighters say there were a lot of petroleum products inside the home. Had the fire reached them it would have spread much more quickly and been harder to bring under control.
The man suffered only minor injuries and the blaze remains under investigation.
