A U C Santa Cruz student was sentenced to prison on Friday. 21 year old Lynnea Hernandez pled guilty to two counts of reckless driving and two counts of vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence, in connection with the March 21st 2016 fatal crash on Highway 1 near Moss Landing. A Santa Cruz County judge ordered Hernandez to spend 6 years behind bars.
