A deal between the striking UCSC grad student’s union and the university is in the works.
Dozens of fired grad students were fired several months ago for engaging in a wildcat strike over wages… but it looks like many of the teaching assistants will be reinstated.
UCSC administration officials took disciplinary action against the students for the strike and for withholding grades.
