Nearly 3,000 health-care workers at U.C. Santa Cruz and other U.C. campuses, have voted on a new labor agreement. Employees represented by the University Professional and Technical Employees, will receive a 2% raise effective immediately under the new contract and step increases for those eligible in January. Many employees are said to receive equity increases depending on their work location and job titles.
