Student instructors and teaching assistants at UCSC are continuing their grade strike today, holding up final grades – due by 11:59 PM tonight – until their wage and other demands are met.
Those demands include a $1,412-a-month cost of living pay raise. They currently receive about $2,400 a month and say that’s not enough to live in Santa Cruz.
