u.c. santa cruz has launched a new major that focuses on networks and digital technology. students who enroll in baskin school of engineering’s new network and digital technology major can choose to specialize or combine the major with other interests. the NEW program is designed to be less intensive than the department’s computer engineering major. students may begin enrolling this fall.
