U.C. Santa Cruz received a gold medal this week by the U.S. Green Building Council for it’s eco-friendly remodel of the Cowell Student Health Center. The 42-year old center was awarded for it’s sustainability and innovation. The 17-million dollar green makeover was funded by students through several bond measures.
