UC Santa Cruz has announced it has chosen new head coaches for 3 positions that opened last June. Former Cross Country and Track And Field coaches were unexpectedly released from their contracts before they were set to expire. The University stated they wanted to go in a different direction, and now they have promoted their Assistant Coaches into the Head Coaching positions instead: David Klech for Cross Country and Track And Field; Lauren Nadler for Women’s Soccer; and Matt Nauman for Swim And Diving Teams. Track and soccer will start next week, while swim will start in early September.
