The University of California announced on Tuesday that they will continue to provide funds for Lick Conservatory, contrary to a decision made a year ago to pull the funding. The 126-year-old conservatory situated atop Mount Hamilton, has been utilized by researchers and students to conduct planet searches and to create astronomical projects for decades. Although the conservatory’s budget is now stable, private donations will be necessary for its future success.
