Local authorities are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a car burglar (or car burglars). A string of burglaries (on the U.C. – Santa Cruz campus) began early this month, and the most recent ones were this week. The perpetrator, or perpetrators, generally break a car window and take items that are in plain view. People who have had their car burglarized, or who may have any information on this case, are encouraged to contact Campus Police at 1 (831) 459-2231.
