U-C Regents gathered yesterday and discussed a proposed development called Student Housing West. If approved, and constructed, housing for more than 3-thousand students would be spread across 2 sites……one is a 17-acre plot in the East Meadow near the main entrance to U-C-S-C; and the other is on the Western Campus (where Student-Family Housing is located). Regents have requested that more information about the visual impact, and the cost of alternative sites, be presented when they meet March 13 and 14th.
