A Gilroy man died this morning when the motorcycle he was riding collided with a semi-rig that had run the red light at SR-156 and SR-25. The dead man has not been identified. The accident occurred after 10 o’clock this (Wed) morning.
The second facility occurred in Monterey when the motorcyclist was driving on Del Monte Avenue around 4:30 p.m. Tuesday when he lost control of the motorcycle and struck the center median.
The driver, a 59-year-old man, was taken to Natividad Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
