On tuesday, California state university officials voted to raise tuition at the 23-campus system next year, by almost 6-hundred dollars. That’s on top of a 10-percent increase in tuition and fees, that was already set to take effect next school year. The Cal state system is reeling from a 650-million dollar reduction in state funding, (which was about 20-percent of the CSU budget).
