An olive ridley sea turtle that was found beached in pacific grove on Wednesday, is recovering at the Monterey bay aquarium. The turtle, which lives in warmer waters, was found stranded on a beach at the Hopkins marine station of Stanford university. The 72-pound turtle likely came north because of warmer-than-usual surface temperatures. However with water cooling down, the turtle was placed in a 78-degree hottub at the Monterey aquarium, so it can warm up, before returning south.
