A 26-time offender was re-arrested yesterday in Santa Cruz. That after the knife-wielding man used a bystander as a shield. The incident began shortly before 9 a.m. on North Branciforte Avenue. 39 year-old Jeremy M Lee was booked into Santa Cruz County Jail. He faces 6 charges, including kidnapping, obstructing police and brand ishing a weapon. He was also booked on an Outstanding Arrest Warrant.
