A 21 YEAR-OLD MAN WAS ARRESTED AFTER HE DROVE HIS PICK-UP TRUCK OFF A BRIDGE IN THE SAN LORENZO VALLEY (VERY EARLY SATURDAY MORNING). HE WAS DRIVING ON QUAIL HOLLOW ROAD TOWARDS EAST ZAYANTE ROAD AROUND 3:15 A-M, WHEN HE DROVE THROUGH THE RAILING OF A WOODEN BRIDGE AND THE VEHICLE DROPPED 50 FEET INTO ZAYANTE CREEK. THE DRIVER, WHO SHOWED OBVIOUS SIGNS OF INTOXICATION WHEN OFFICERS ARRIVED ON THE SCENE, WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF HIS FULLY SUBMERGED TRUCK ON HIS OWN. HE WAS BOOKED INTO SANTA CRUZ COUNTY JAIL.
