The driver of a truck that hit a Salinas fire hydrant, and the side of a building yesterday, could face charges. The 7 p.m. incident occurred near the intersection of Salinas And Alisal Streets. It took crews from California Water Service about an hour to stop the flow of water from the hydrant. No one was hurt in the incident.
