3 people died in a solo-vehicle accident last night (Friday) at the intersection of Carmel Valley Road and Highway 1. The 3 out-of-towners suffered fatal injuries when the driver failed to negotiate the turn at that intersection and crashed the vehicle. None of them were wearing seatbelts, and they were all declared dead at the scene.
