A trial that was scheduled to begin next week has been postponed yet again. Maria villegas de Munoz faces felony gross vehicular manslaughter charges in connection with a September, 2010 fatal accident near Thompson road. munoz’s blood alcohol level was allegedly point-1-5 when she crashed her vehicle into james parker’s motorcycle. The 49-year-old man was declared dead at the scene. His then 15-year-old son was on the back of the bike at the time. Munoz is due back in a santa cruz county courtroom august 1st, to set a new trial date.
