Local bike riders rejoice, the new San Lorenzo River trestle is the recipient of the “outstanding bikeways and trails project of the year” from the society of civil engineers
The San Lorenzo River trestle was awarded the project for: improving and promoting community connectivity. The new trestle was completed in May, just in time for summer, amid much fanfare.
The trestle project marks the first portion of the coastal rail trail which together with other projects will provide a 32-mile long separated bicycle/pedestrian and train path along our local coast
