The No. 2 (right) lane of southbound Highway 17 will be closed in various locations between Alta Vista Lane and Crescent Drive beginning Monday, April 29 through Wednesday, May 1 from 8 am until 2 pm so that Caltrans may perform vegetation control and remove dead or hazardous trees. The Caltrans Electrical team will also be working in this area. Motorists can expect delays not to exceed 15 minutes.
Electronic message boards will be activated to advise travelers about this roadwork which is necessary to ensure the safety of everyone.
This work will be performed by the Caltrans Santa Cruz North Maintenance team.
