A Boulder Creek family is still recovering after a 60-foot redwood fell onto their home during last week’s storm. The tree fell on December 11th, pinning Rob and Catherine Gieberson to their bed. Catherine suffered several broken ribs as a result of the tree falling on her and the rest of the family, including their 6-year-old son, escaped without injury. The Gieberson’s need help finding a new place to live and the community has begun an online fundraising effort at youcaring.com.
