A community workshop on Highway 218 safety is set for Thursday, with comments guiding a study to make Canyon Del Rey Boulevard safer. The workshop is hosted by the Transportation Agency for Monterey County, the city of Del Rey Oaks, the city of Seaside and Caltrans. Participants will hear a presentation about the area and fill out a survey. The workshop runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Oldemeyer Center at 986 Hilby Ave. The survey can also be found online at bit.ly/canyondelrey.
