The top junior garlic chef has been named (after 8 chefs between the ages of 6 and 15 years-old faced off for that title at the 40th Gilroy Garlic Festival this past weekend). Each chef had 2 hours to prepare and plate the dish, and the panel of 4 judges scored them on taste, appearance, creativity, and garlic. 6 year-old Addyson Dell won with a dish of garlic mac and cheese, garlic chicken tenders, and roasted asparagus.
