A WOMAN SUSPECTED OF ATTEMPTING TO PASS A FORGED CHECK AT LAS LOMAS MARKET ON THE 100 BLOCK OF HALL ROAD THIS WEEKEND, ENDED UP IN A WATSONVILLE TOMATO FIELD. SHERIFF’S DEPUTIES SAY THAT, 47 YEAR OLD BOBBY TORIO, TRIED TO PASS THE CHECK ON FRIDAY MORNING. WHEN THEY TRIED TO CONTACT HER SHORTLY BEFORE 11:00 A-M, SHE FLED IN HER VEHICLE, EVENTUALLY COLLIDING WITH ANOTHER CAR. TORIO AND THE DRIVER OF THE OTHER VEHICLE, WERE BOTH INJURED. THEY WERE TREATED AND RELEASED FROM AN AREA HOSPITAL. TORIO ALLEGEDLY HAD SEVERAL FELONY WARRANTS OUT AGAINST HER, AND SHE WAS ALSO FOUND TO BE IN POSSESSION OF A METH PIPE, METHAMPHETAMINE AND MORE FICTITIOUS CHECKS. HER CRASH CAUSED AROUND ONE THOUSAND DOLLARS DAMAGE TO THE TOMATO FIELD
