09:20 – update – The number of PGE customers now effected by this morning’s outage is about 24-hundred, and they are all on the Rio Del Mar side of Highway 1.

A power outage that began at 5 minutes to 9 this morning, and initially impacted more than 6,000 P.G. & E. Customers from the Day Valley Area of Aptos north, and from the Forest Of Nisene Marks State Park down to Rio Del Mar, is now effecting about 2400 customers in the Rio Del Mar area west of Highway 1. P.G. & E. Crews are working to determine the cause of the outage. The current estimated time of restoral is 1:15 this afternoon.
Another 108 P.G. & E customers in the Corralitos area lost their power at 4 minutes to 9, and a P.G. & E. crew is working to restore power there. The estimated time of restoral there is 2 o’clock this afternoon.
