Santa cruz police officers arrested a man on Monday, for allegedly stealing beer from 2-grocery stores, and driving drunk. 45-year-old irving Henderson was arrested on front street, just before 9 p.m., when officers noticed his vehicle. It matched the description of one used in a theft of some beer earlier in the night, (from the safeway on Morrissey boulevard). Officers allegedly found the beer in the vehicle, and believed that Henderson was drunk. He was arrested on D.U.I.-charges, burglary, and driving with a suspended license.
