The swimming advisory has been lifted for Capitola Beach east and west of the jetty after recent water samples indicated bacteria levels have dropped to safe body-contact levels. The beach had been posted with swimming advisory signage due to samples containing high bacteria levels. The area is now deemed safe for swimming and other water sports.
