The Santa Cruz Water department is expected to call for the reinstatement of water restrictions. At tonight’s (mon) meeting with the water commission at City Hall the department will be asking that the city’s water situation once again be declared a stage three emergency. The city was already on mandatory restrictions before they were lifted three months ago, FOLLOWING December’s relatively high rainfall totals.
