The Santa Cruz Regional 911 facility is conducting a feasibility study. The study will determine if the facility is capable of handling a substantial increase in 911 calls if it provides dispatch serve for the several Monterey County cities that are exploring options to their current emergency dispatch system. Santa Cruz Regional 911 has also been providing dispatch service to Hollister and San Benito County since 2011. The study is expected to be completed in June.
