The Great Morgani is expected to return to downtown Santa Cruz on Halloween. He recently received permission from the owners of the Rittenhouse Building to perform in front of their building. The Great Morgani expects his first performance to run from 3 to 6 p.m. on Halloween. He has been on hiatus from the downtown area for 8 months now due, in part, to the city’s ordinance that requires all street performers to be 14-feet away from buildings and street features. The design of the Rittenhouse Building puts the portion of the sidewalk in front of its front doors on private property which means the Great Morgani can perform there.
