In business news… electric car maker Tesla is cutting jobs… many of those jobs are in the bay area.
Just over 800-employees will get their pink slips at the Tesla factory in Fremont. 78 people will loose their jobs at Tesla headquarters in Palo Alto. And in Lathrop, near Tracy… 137 people will be off the job.
Tesla c-e-o Elon Musk says the lay-offs are necessary because the company is trying to lower the price of it’s model three electric car.
