A tentative agreement has been reached between Monterey county and S.E.I.U Local 521. The multi-year pact would increase wages and keep employee health costs the same as they were. The tentative agreement still needs to be ratified by the nearly 3100 workers impacted; and then approved (and adopted) by Santa Cruz County Supervisors.
