new evidence was presented yesterday in a preliminary hearing for 3 men accused of murdering a santa cruz teen in 2009. a santa cruz police sergeant testified that fingerprints were lifted from several beer cans that were found on the street where tyler tenorio was murdered in downtown santa cruz. prosecution has not brought a fingerprint analyst to court to show a link between the beer cans and the defendants. two other suspects, ivan ramirez and paulo luna, are still wanted by police in connection with tenorio’s murder.
