A teenager has been arrested for the January murder of a man in Santa Cruz. The 16 year-old was arrested in Texas and is slated to be extradit ed back to Santa Cruz in the coming days. The teen is believed to be the person who killed 37 year-old Daniel Worth Hartley. Santa Cruz police officers found Hartley on the 700 block of Emeline Avenue on January 17th, after they received a call of a “man down”. He had suffered “blunt force trauma to his head area”.
