A teenager was airlifted this afternoon after being hit by a vehicle in Monterey. The 14 year-old Monterey High School student was hit while crossing Pacific Street. The student was reportedly conscious when she was taken to a trauma center. The accident occurred in front of the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District’s office, and emotional support staff are now scheduled to be on-hand at school tomorrow.
