(08:50) Santa Cruz – In an effort to share the best means of supporting student success, UC Santa Cruz and CollegeNET are holding a symposium for educators across northern California. The goal for the symposium is to explain social mobility, why it is important, and how social mobility is connected to educational equity. The symposium includes guest speakers from CollegeNET, UC Santa Cruz, UC Davis, as well as lightening talks and a panel discussion. The event is scheduled to take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, February 26 at UC Santa Cruz, University Center.
