A Salinas Valley State Prison inmate has been sentenced for the 2013 murder of his cell mate. 34 year old Brandon Keen was convicted in January of fatally beating, stabbing, and ultimately strangling 31 year old Dimitris Kalatzakis, On Monday a judge sentenced Keen to 141 years in prison. Kalatzakis would have been released in 2015.
