The sale of the weekly newspaper “the scotts valley press-banner” has been approved. A bankruptcy judge had to approve the sale, because the parent company, tracy press, filed for bankruptcy protection in 2010. the sale to texas resident h. lee Wilcox included 2-other California weekly newspapers: “the patterson irrigator,” and “the Tracy press.” Wilcox bought all-3 for a total bid of more-than 1-point-2 million dollars. the sale is expected to be close on april 30th.
