Scotts valley police detectives are trying to determine if a series of recent burglaries involved the same suspect or suspects. The most recent incident occurred on Tuesday morning, when a liquor store on scotts valley drive was robbed. Cash was taken from the register in that incident, which happened about a half-hour after a pharmacy in the kings village shopping center was broken into. In that attempted burglary, the suspects tried to steal or damage the store’s a-t-m, but were unsuccessful. Those may 29th incidents followed at burglary on may 23rd of the ace hardware store in the kings village shopping center. several chainsaws were stolen in that robbery.
