Local law enforcement are on the look out for a suspect that may be armed and dangerous.
It all started in Scotts Valley yesterday evening when a driver hit a car and then took off, officers tried to pull over the vehicle on Mount Hermon road and that’s when a chase broke out, ending in a crash on Whispering Pines Drive.
Three people jumped out of the car and tried to run… one of the passengers had a loaded semi automatic handgun. The driver tho, got away… and officers asked residents to shelter in place while they looked for the suspect.
As of this morning, that suspect is still at large.
