Scotts Valley council members are expected to continue a debate in the next few months over the fate of a historic barn. Last night members unanimously voted to either delay demolition of the Polo Ranch Barn, and instead take the 1-million dollars offered by a developer for city improvements, or consider renovating the dilapidated property. Community members are expected to look at options for the barn, which they say has continued to deteriorate over the past several years to where it’s not safe or financially feasible to restore.
