a santa cruz woman and 2 san jose men were arrested over the weekend on drug charges and possession of stolen property and counterfeit money. just after 2:30 a.m. friday morning, a scotts valley police officer noticed a vehicle driving erratically on southbound highway 17. 33 year old andrew ray perez, a passenger in the vehicle, was on parole. a parole search of the vehicle revealed methamphetamine, stolen electronics and stolen mail, as well as counterfeit money. perez, along with 44 year old jason meza, and 43 year old kenna alexander were arrested on a number of charges, including identity theft, counterfeiting, and meth possession. all 3 suspects were booked into santa cruz county jail.
