Salinas police are investigating a suspicious death. Early yesterday (Thurs) morning officers were called to perform a welfare check at a motel on Kern Street. Police entered a room and found a deceased female in her 30’s. The death is considered suspicious because of the decedent’s age and lack of medical conditions. An autopsy will be performed to determine cause of death.
