5 drivers were arrested in Salinas over the weekend for Driving Under The Influence. Extra D-U-I enforcement teams were out because it was Superbowl weekend. 2 of the people arrested had blood alcohol levels of .21 and .35….(which are more than twice, and more than 4-and-a-half, times the legal limit). Another driver (who had a blood alcohol level of .19) managed to drive his car into 6 parked cars….as he left a Superbowl party.
