A lawsuit against the “occupy santa cruz” movement was filed on Friday, citing the protesters as a public nuisance. The suit bolsters local leaders’ plan to evict the protesters from san Lorenzo park on Wednesday. That is when a November 16th deadline will arrive for the campers to leave. The protesters have said that they did not agree to any deadline, and they plan to stay. 9-people were cited and 2 were arrested at the encampment on Friday, for various violations.
