Despite a midnight Friday deadline, the striking UC Santa Cruz teaching assistants have yet to be terminated. The graduate student association claims that at least 85 teaching assistants are still withholding fall quarter grades despite the deadline.
The grading strike began in December and became a full wildcat strike that has been taking place for three weeks while grad students demand higher wages.
