Volunteers are being sought for a fund raising event this weekend in Watsonville. The event is the 1st Annual Strawberry Jam 1k and 5 k Run/Walk at Ramsay Park on Saturday. This event benefits the nonprofit Friends of Watsonville Parks and Community Services which uses funds raised by this and other fundraisers to help pay for Watsonville Parks and Community Services classes and activities for residents that cannot afford to participate.
